OVERVIEW

Having been riding with this Jersey for over a month now. Through both wet mud-covered trails, as well as the scorching sun we’ve had, I can clearly see that POC designed these Jerseys with two things in mind. Practicality and Comfort. With their super quick drying fabric with super stretch, combined with fantastically free range of movement, they definitely hit the nail on the head!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The build quality is super high! The fabric feels top quality, super soft with a hint of weight. Once you have the Jersey on it is just completely unnoticeable. Initially, I was sceptical about how well the Jersey would fair in warm weather due to the long-sleeved design and the fabric type. I was definitely wrong! I was completely corrected on my first ride, on a really hot and humid day with thunderstorms. The fabric wicks exceptionally well keeping you cool, it’s a real credit to the design.

IN THE LONG RUN

I've been using this Jersey a lot, mainly on much longer physical rides and I've had my fair share of scrapes and scratches with brambles/gorse, but it still looks brand new. In terms of fit, I'm 174cm, between 65-70kg, (depending on how much cake I've been eaten) and fairly broad shouldered. I’m wearing a Medium and it’s the perfect fit I'm after. A touch loose, but not too long. Some other brands have a longer cut back from a moto cross heritage, luckily these don't. I don't currently wear any body armour when riding, but you definitely could with this Jersey, if you’re that way inclined!

OUR VERDICT

These Jerseys are a truly high-quality product. The comfort is undeniable and the cut and fit is flawless. But they do have a downside. The price. At a RRP of £70, they are at the top end of the market. That said, they are very well designed and very well built. They are extremely versatile, whether riding in the heat or in the wet, they hold up to standard, I’d recommend them for any rider.
